In honour of the powerful partnerships we’ve built across Europe and Asia Pacific, we are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2019 Microsoft Advertising Regional Partner Awards. On Wednesday 4 December, we had a fantastic time celebrating all of our winners and finalists in Munich, Germany and it was truly a night to remember! It has been our absolute pleasure to turn the spotlight on the individuals and teams behind some of the most impactful, effective and creative work in the search and performance media industry, and we were very excited to host them all under one roof at the amazing venue that is the Paulaner Nockherberg.
Microsoft Advertising acknowledged advertising agencies and technology partners across 18 categories, and we offer our huge congratulations to the winners and finalists for 2019. The winners of the Microsoft Advertising Regional Partner Awards are:
Growth Hacker of the Year Award
Awarded to an agency that has demonstrated innovative and growth hacking usage of Microsoft Advertising tools, products, insights and solutions.
Greenlight Digital–United Kingdom
Trailblazer of the Year Award
Awarded to an individual who finds innovative and engaging ways to evangelise Microsoft Advertising, and who drives Microsoft Advertising brand awareness and affinity both internally and industry-wise.
Charlie Carroll, Push Group–United Kingdom
Account Team of the Year Award
Awarded to an exemplary account team that partners, engages and uses feedback to optimise. They test and adopt new features, and submit case studies, all while staying transparent in the spirit of partnership.
Rising Star of the Year Award
Awarded to a rising partner that has made the most accelerated focus in the past year with Microsoft Advertising. Judges were looking for a shooting star with inspiring thinking and business solutions, as well as the focus to deliver top results.
Executive of the Year Award
Awarded to an agency executive (in a leadership position, with national influence) who excels in championing the Search practice and shows a true commitment to partnering with, and investing in, Microsoft Advertising.
Emily Barnard, OMD–United Kingdom
Independent Agency of the Year Award
Awarded to an independent agency that engages with Microsoft Advertising in true partnership, including increased spend, product adoption, ingenuity and creativity around product application/optimisation and marketing partnerships.
Inclusive Culture and Marketing Award
Awarded to the partner who demonstrates the strongest commitment to inclusive culture and promoting inclusive marketing practices, both in the day-to-day, as well as through specific initiatives and campaigns.
Technology Partner of the Year Award
Awarded to the technology partner that engages with Microsoft Advertising in true partnership and demonstrates excellence across spend, product adoption, ingenuity and creativity around product application/optimisation and marketing partnerships.
Agency of the Year Award
Awarded to the agency that engages with Microsoft Advertising in true partnership and demonstrates excellence across spend, product adoption, ingenuity and creativity around product application/optimisation and marketing partnerships.
All of our winners have played a vital role in shaping the future of performance media and bringing to life the opportunities search offers marketers to both better understand consumer intent and drive impactful and measurable digital engagement.
