What you can do with Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform

We recently announced that all advertisers within Microsoft Advertising now have access to Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform. Available now in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. In July, we introduce six new languages: Thai, Turkish, Korean, Russian, Dutch, and Filipino. We’re thrilled that Copilot has been bringing to bear incredible value to users:

Copilot is like having your own advertising assistant available 24/7, to provide real-time support, answer questions, help you uncover insights, and free up your time to focus on your priorities.
  • Unlock productivity: Save time and energy by letting Copilot handle the creation of beautiful images and engaging messaging for your ad campaigns. This means you can quickly create campaigns and increase the variety of your assets, allowing you to compete with bigger players, even if you don't have a huge budget.
  • Unleash creativity: Easily iterate on your high-performing campaigns or develop new concepts from start to finish, using the power of AI. By co-creating with Copilot, you can experiment, refine, and craft inspired campaigns that resonate more deeply with your audience.
  • Uplevel performance: By being able to launch campaigns and increase your asset variety with ease, you improve our platform's ability to deliver personalized ads to your target audience, which in turn, improves your performance.

1. Get answers instantaneously

Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform is your 24/7 digital advertising assistant. Its conversational chat understands where you are in the User Interface (UI) to provide contextual prompt starters. Using natural language, you can get answers instantaneously and helpful links to resources for more information.

2. Navigate the Microsoft Advertising User Interface like a pro

With Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform, you can navigate the User Interface like a pro. Launch it from the Copilot button in the navigation menu and simply ask questions in the chat. Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform not only provides you with detailed instructions, but also a button to take you there. Copilot in the MAP is your navigational guide to the User Interface. Just like your friend sitting in the passenger seat will help you navigate on a road trip, Copilot is there to direct you so that you can focus on driving business results. Unfortunately, no DJ or snack passing capabilities yet.

3. Create a campaign with ease

Creating a new campaign has never been easier. During campaign creation, enter your landing page URL (or Final URL) to get AI-powered recommended image and copy assets automatically. Refine your asset recommendations with a prompt to get even more personalized results and select from multiple campaign themes. And just like that, you have a baseline campaign.

4. Enhance your copywriting

Banish writer's block with the help of Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform. During campaign creation, Copilot automatically provides AI-recommended copy based on your URL to enable you to quickly add more options. It also has built-in tools to help you refine your copy, like ‘Try a different tone’, so you can make your copy more friendly or persuasive. Easily iterate your ad titles, ad headlines, and ad descriptions by finding similar copy. Or rewrite your copy entirely with a text prompt.

5. Create beautiful images

Now, anyone can create beautiful images. Create customized photos that inspire people to engage, click, and buy your product.

Available in the campaign creation flow and in Asset Library, Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising platform provides an AI-powered image asset creation tool to boost creativity and upskill any team member to add asset variety to their campaign. Generate a variety of images with a text prompt and add them to your Asset Library or directly into a campaign.

6. Customize an image background

Have a product image in need of a different background? Well, you're in luck. Soon you can enhance the relevancy of a campaign by customizing your image backgrounds. Click on an image to “Try a different scene.” Next, select your subject area to remove the current background. Then create your new background setting by using our helpful prompt starters to describe the placement, surroundings, and backdrop. Or define it yourself. Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising platform helps you adapt your campaign creative for a specific season, market, or audience.

7. Showcase your brand in display ads

Showcase your brand with display placements across MSN, Microsoft Start, Outlook.com, and Microsoft Casual Games with the help of Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform. All you need to do is to provide Copilot with a landing page URL during Display Ad creation workflow. Copilot recommends images, generates copy, and quickly assembles your banner assets, perfectly sized for the multitude of display ad formats on the Microsoft Advertising Network.

8. Amplify your brand storytelling on the search results page

Take brand storytelling to the next level with Multimedia Ads, located in the right rail of the Bing and Yahoo search engine results pages (SERP). Copilot is integrated into your search campaign workflow to help you create Multimedia Ads with ease, from writing compelling copy to recommending images. Pair this with your Responsive Search Ads, also powered by Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform, to maximize your real estate and brand awareness on the SERP.

9. Stand out with videos

Capture your audience’s attention and enhance your brand storytelling with online Video ads and Connected TV ads, made with Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform. Quickly build video assets with your AI-recommended images and text to engage your audience in a visual, new way. Your in-stream and outstream Video ads help you reach your audience on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices across a global marketplace of publishers. Meanwhile, your Connected TV ads access audiences across smart TV and connected devices while they are streaming media.

10. Summarize your campaign performance

This feature is also coming soon and will let you quickly recap any campaign’s performance with Copilot in the Microsoft Advertising platform. Using natural language, you can simply ask Copilot to produce a snapshot of key performance metrics by providing a campaign name and time frame.
