Microsoft and Shopify partner to help merchants grow business

With the acceleration of digital commerce, consumers have significantly increased their online shopping, exploring new products and brands. We’re always looking for ways to help connect brands with consumers and we’re excited to announce our partnership with Shopify. This means Shopify merchants in the United States and Canada can reach more customers using the updated Microsoft Channel app available in their Shopify store.

Shopify merchants will be able to easily reach shoppers on the Microsoft Search Network and Microsoft Audience Network with just a few clicks. The onboarding is simple, allowing merchants to quickly connect with shopping offerings that showcase their products using free and paid listings.

How does the Microsoft Channel app work?

Merchants can quickly connect through the Microsoft Channel using their Microsoft Advertising account or sign up for a new one in few easy steps.

To significantly expand the reach of their brands and products across Microsoft Search Network and Microsoft Audience Network, merchants can create new ad campaigns and view their marketing performance through real-time reports in their Shopify store.

In addition, all merchants’ products are automatically able to be shown on the Microsoft Bing Shopping tab and the Microsoft Start Shopping tab free as Product Listings.

Soon we’ll be be rolling out a quick checkout option via the Buy now button on both Product Ads and Product Listings, to help consumers quickly bridge the gap from discovery to purchase. With the Buy now offering, shoppers can easily purchase the products they’re interested in after being sent directly to the shopping cart page.
