As part of the Trusted Partnership Interview Series at DMEXCO 2019, keynote speaker and author Jon Burkhart talked to Burcu Agma, VP of Planning and Insights at Performics US, about how to earn customer trust and, more importantly, how to keep it.
Titled ‘It’s about trust: earn it, learn it, live it’, the audience that gathered at the Microsoft Stage discovered that building trust with consumers is the same as building trust with family and friends. Agma told Burkhart, “I feel like sometimes we forget that we’re targeting people. You might hear in our industry people saying, ‘What do they want?’, as if we’re targeting aliens. Put your marketers hat aside for a second and you will realise you yourself are a consumer.”
