Microsoft Advertising launches in 29 new countries
We’re in growth mode!
Today, we’ve launched Microsoft Advertising in 29 countries across Europe and Africa. These 29 markets bring advertisers access to a new audience and enable them to reach consumers in 19 new languages.
This will increase our footprint to reach an estimated 41 million consumers, making 400 million searches each month on Microsoft and partner sites.1
We’re thrilled to expand access to these new markets to all advertisers and partners in 2022. This represents a huge milestone in the scaling of our platform and is an exciting first step in unlocking even more of Microsoft’s global search volume.
To mark this milestone, we are expanding our Partner Program to include the Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, and South Africa, which we announced earlier this year. Find out more about the Partner Program and its benefits here.
If you are an existing client and want to start advertising in these new markets, we encourage you to talk to your account team or reach out today. If you are brand-new to Microsoft Advertising, you can sign up and get started right away!
New markets, languages, and product availability
Starting today, the following markets are live and ready for you to upload your ads: Albania, Andorra, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey, and the Vatican City.
With this launch, we will also be supporting the following languages: Albanian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Estonian, Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Maltese, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, and Turkish.
As of today, the following ad formats and products are supported in each new market: text ads, Responsive Search Ads, Dynamic Search Ads, Shopping Campaigns, audience targeting (age, demographic, location, device), remarketing, Dynamic Remarketing, automated bidding (maximum clicks, maximum conversions, target cost per acquisition (CPA), and target return on ad spend (ROAS)), Universal Event Tracking (UET), and Conversion Tracking.
In addition, we’ve also updated our policy pages as they relate to these new markets.
Even more to look forward to in 2022
We’ve nearly doubled the number of available markets in which you can advertise with today’s launch. But we are not done! This is the first wave of a global expansion program for Microsoft Advertising that will feature new markets launching throughout 2022 in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
We’ve spent the last few years globalizing our platform and now we are ready to unleash the full potential of Microsoft Advertising to become a truly global offering. We look forward to enabling all our clients to find and connect with new customers.
