Get started: Multi-channel advertising and social media management

Please note that starting on April 25, 2023, Smart Campaigns with Multi-platform will no longer support social media management for Twitter.

As small businesses march towards the path to recovery from the pandemic, reaching and engaging with potential customers to grow your business remains one of the biggest challenges. We at Microsoft Advertising believe it shouldn’t be.

To help small businesses thrive in this new online world, we’re excited to share that we are piloting a new capability in Microsoft Advertising, starting in U.S., which will give small businesses the ability to easily manage digital advertising in leading advertising and social media platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram. In this day and age, having a robust social media presence is critical to staying engaged with customers and increase awareness organically. Microsoft Advertising now also provides an easy way to streamline social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Best of all you only pay for your ad spend — no service fees or commissions.

If you’re interested in participating in the pilot for this exciting capability, please fill out this short online questionnaire. Participants (up to 40) may be eligible for a $500 credit from Microsoft Advertising.

Multi-channel paid advertising

Here’s how it works: simply tell us your advertising goals and your business website URL, and we’ll create the ad campaign for you based on the content on your website.

You can then review the business information, estimation of how many times your ads will be shown and clicked, suggested keyword themes that will trigger your ads, suggested daily budget, and where your ads will appear geographically for your ad campaign.

Text ads relevant to your business will be created for you, you can edit them at any time to add your creative spin. Or you can choose to create your own ads. By default, text ads will be shown in Microsoft Search Network (Bing, Yahoo, and AOL), and you can show them in Google as well with a single click.

You can easily choose to show Image and video ads in Facebook and Instagram as well. We even provide you relevant image ad suggestions to choose from.

Once the setup is complete, and your campaign is up and running you’ll start seeing results, such as how many people saw the ads, clicked on them, or made a phone call. Managing the ad campaign across multiple platforms is no longer a hassle. Our Microsoft artificial intelligence (AI) technology will do the heavy lifting such as keyword management, bid management, text ads automation, and budget management across platforms to maximize your ad performance — no need to painstakingly monitor and optimize the ad campaigns manually across multiple platforms.

You’ll have visibility and control on your ad campaign. See what ads are performing well in the Top ads tile and edit them if you would like. You can see what search phrases in Bing and Google are triggering your ads and choose to pause search phrases that you think are not relevant to your business.

You can track whether people complete specific actions on your website which are important to your business. For example, whether they purchase a product or become leads for future business after clicking on ads. With action tracking, you also get access to metrics like the amount of time your customers spend on your website, and the number of pages they visit after they click on your ads.
