This analysis covers industry trends, advertising trends and behavioral trends to give advertisers a clearer picture of what this category looks like on the Microsoft Search Network.
We found that our 2020 COVID-19 forecasts show more recovery for the Loans & Lending category. The lending landscape is becoming more competitive with new advertisers. Throughout the pandemic, we saw that advertisers continued to focus bidding on non-branded keywords. Younger generations who tend to be affected more heavily financially by the pandemic are driving searches for credit products and increasing their search share compared to 2019.
