The redesigned Microsoft Advertising web experience is here

Over the last 10 months, the redesigned Microsoft Advertising has been available in an open preview for marketers who requested to participate. We’re excited to announce that the redesign is now rolling out to all advertisers within the next several weeks. Our goal with this redesign is to empower you to achieve more with your business — whether you’re an agency, large business, or small direct advertiser.

Easier access to your campaigns and your results

The new Microsoft Advertising is more than just a facelift. In the redesign, you’ll find that everything you need to reach your advertising goals is right where you expect it to be.

There will be a new global menu bar that appears on the top of every page. Use the global menu to switch accounts, quickly access tools and settings like ad preview, shared library, conversion tracking, Google Import, and more. If you can’t see a page or tool, use the search box to quickly find it.

The main menu on the far left will allow quick-and-easy access to your campaigns. Use the main menu to deep dive into specific campaign types, campaigns, and ad groups. As you navigate your campaigns, you’ll find that the page menus adapt to only display the pages and data that are applicable to your campaign.

New keyboard shortcuts will help you instantly access popular pages and actions. On any page, tap the “?” key on your keyboard to access a menu of available keyboard shortcuts.

Overall, we've reorganized the navigation menus with a focus on your productivity. You’ll find that you can spend less time working through the clutter of tools and menus, allowing you to accomplish key tasks more quickly.

A new, modern design

This redesign represents a new, principled design approach that is centered on your feedback and contributes to an open, cross-platform design system. The redesigned Microsoft Advertising is a member of the Microsoft Fluent design community, allowing our product to continuously maintain the newest, most modern design principles for you.

Microsoft Fluent design affords you a clean, light, and open ecosystem to help you focus on what you’re trying to achieve. With Microsoft Fluent design, you may find that the redesigned Microsoft Advertising feels similar to other Microsoft products, as well as other advertising platforms. We’ve applied colors selectively and added the right amount of spacing around page elements, tables, graphs and forms in order to reduce fatigue and information overload, as well as draw your attention to the items that matter. Our overall goal with the new, modern design is that you’re better focused on achieving positive results with fewer distractions.

New, cross-account insights with Manager Account Overview

The Manager Account Overview dashboard will be the new default landing page for multi-account users in the redesigned Microsoft Advertising, providing you with a one-stop shop to gauge how you’re performing at the manager account level and where to take action on your accounts.

In your new Manager Account dashboard, you can leverage customizable tiles in your dashboard to learn how you’re performing against your goals and to discover rich insights within a few clicks, ultimately saving you time in Microsoft Advertising. You’ll be able to easily discover quick insights across your accounts through data snapshots and visualizations in four tiles (visible above): Performance, Top changes: Accounts, Accounts and Devices.

  • The Performance tile shows the trend lines of how your accounts are doing over the selected date range. View your spend, clicks, conversions and impressions, and more, across time. These data points allow you to quickly recognize patterns and trends. You can also hover over the graph to see the details behind each data point.
  • The Accounts tile shows a partial list of your accounts' spend, clicks, impressions, clickthrough rate and more.
  • The Top changes: Accounts tile identifies the accounts showing the top gainers and decliners to a variety of performance metrics compared the current period to previous periods.
  • The Devices tile shows how your accounts are doing by displaying an overview of your devices' key metrics (clicks, impressions, spend) all in the same place. This tile provides a quick and easy way to gain insight into which devices are most effective across the accounts.
