As part of the Trusted Partnership Interview Series at DMEXCO 2019, keynote speaker and author Jon Burkhart talked to Florian Faidt (Senior Sales Manager) from Blue Summit Media about the importance of thoroughly knowing the B2B customer.
Faidt said that personal contact with people and customers has always been, and continues to be, of great importance when it comes to B2B. “It’s not like buying some furniture where you can sit at home on your sofa with augmented reality glasses. I think [in the future], you’ll have to set up your company with the right technologies… to get the chance to grow with the market. The B2B market is still a people business.” Faidt also revealed the kind of candidates he would look to hire at Blue Summit Media. “Everyone has to have the same KPIs. You need the ‘general player’ but you also need the ‘specific player’. It’s better for the client.”
