Microsoft Advertising Insights analyzed the Real Estate market in Australia since the onset of COVID-19. We looked at how consumer behaviour and search trends have changed amidst the pandemic to provide advertisers insight into how to plan campaigns and best reach their consumers.
In our research, we found that the Australian housing market is showing resilience through buyer demand even amidst a pandemic and economic uncertainty. As consumers search for information on housing and Real Estate, they are primarily going to property websites. Another trend observed in the housing market occurred when the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) cut interest rates, driving a spike in interest for Real Estate.
