We’re excited to announce that Give with Bing is now live in Australia! Give with Bing lets Microsoft Rewards users earn and donate points to causes they care about every time they search.
By joining Microsoft Rewards and switching on Give Mode, points you earn searching the web with Bing will automatically be donated to a cause that is important to you. And because we believe giving is most rewarding when it’s personal, we have over one million non-profit organisations for you to choose from, including the Australian Red Cross, UNICEF Australia, Doctors without Borders and many more. Microsoft will also be matching all donations through to the end of December to double the impact.
Charities will receive real donations, and users are able to track their lifetime giving and see the global impact Give with Bing is making through their dashboard. As we grow this program internationally and continue to expand our range of causes, we hope to build on the massive success we’ve already seen in the US and make a real difference to the causes our users in Australia care most about.
Our partners have expressed their appreciation for donations received through Give with Bing.
For example, The Special Olympics says:
“The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. COVID-19 has not only affected our ability to provide sports and social opportunities to our athletes, it has also impacted the health and wellness of this vulnerable population. Our number one priority has been to keep our athlete safe and healthy while physically distancing at home. Our partnership with Microsoft and the Bing team has allowed us to continue to support our athletes during this critical time. While the unemployment rate continues to rise, and our usual donor pool is unable to support us at their regular level, Microsoft Rewards and the “Give with Bing” campaign are critical in securing funding, visibility, and support for our movement. We are immensely grateful for a technology partner who cares so deeply about inclusions and accessibility.”
Brian Kealy, International Marketing Lead for Bing, said:
“We’re extremely excited to be launching Give with Bing in Australia, empowering our users to support important causes in these difficult times. Microsoft has always been focused on philanthropy and this is a fantastic way for our users to continue to make a real positive difference.”
If you’re already a Rewards member, you’ll start accruing points to donate as soon as you switch on Give Mode. If you’re not a Microsoft Rewards member, switching on Give Mode will create a Rewards account for you. Visit our Give with Bing homepage and start giving back today!
