The goal

FxPro, a leading online broker serving traders in 170+ countries, offers Contracts for Difference (CFDs) across eight asset classes: Forex, Futures, Shares, ETFs, Spot Indices, Spot Metals & Spot Energy. To combat rising customer acquisition costs in Brazil’s competitive financial services space, FxPro focused on creatively targeting relevant audiences to drive growth and reduce cost per acquisition (CPA).

The solution

FxPro partnered with Microsoft Advertising and InMobi Advertising to execute a strategic two-step approach: building a solid data foundation, followed by scaling. Leveraging Microsoft Advertising’s Performance Max to reach audiences across channels in the most optimal manner, the brand automatically responded to real-time shifts while incorporating strategic recommendations by InMobi Advertising. Launching with modest budgets and broad CPA targets, the brand ensured the first four weeks gave Microsoft’s AI room to learn and optimize. Gradual optimizations followed, including adjusting CPA targets, refining bidding strategies, narrowing focus to high-value audiences, and monitoring and utilizing creative assets based on performance. Search term insights helped identify keywords that drove higher conversions and Performance Max’s audience signals and search themes strengthened targeting. The result was higher click-through rates and incredible conversion rates.
