Bing at dmexco 2017: Transformative Intelligent Connections

Digital Transformation is on everyone’s mind and this year will be the focus for Microsoft at the upcoming dmexco conference. The age of Digital Transformation impacting the whole industry, which is why dmexco has called this year the “Age of Change”.

  

Bing, and its parent Microsoft, are part of the driving force behind that transformation with intelligent technologies that are empowering marketer success.  We will be showcasing some of these leading technologies during the event, with a particular focus on search and its underlying role in understanding and navigating the new, more intuitive interactions between consumers and brands with the onset of voice search, cognitive services, bots and AI that marketers are grappling with today. Meeting the right audience in the right context will always be paramount for marketers and at dmexco, Microsoft will be showcasing what is possible with “transformative intelligent connections”.

Microsoft will be based in Hall 6  on booth (A-49/B-48) whilst also contributing to panel sessions and presentations throughout the week, including:

  • Rik van der Kooi, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Advertising, will present alongside BMW‘s Dieter May, Sr. Vice President of Digital Products and Services, Digitalization Customer Interface to discuss, ‘how will the car of the future interact with our house, office, friends and family’, and ‘what does this mean for the digital life of the consumer?’ (Wednesday 1.20 pm, Congress Hall)
  • On the second day, Adrian Cutler, Global Agency Director, Microsoft Search Advertising, will take part in a panel to discuss language search, and the future of audio advertising, with iProspect and Amazon (Thursday, 10am, Experience Hall)
  • In the second session of the day, Stephen Sirich, GM, Microsoft Advertising, will present the impact of digital transformation for marketers in a hosted, fireside chat (Thursday, 12 pm, Debate Hall)
  • Rene Brandel, Skype Product Lead, Microsoft, will present on a panel  with Facebook, Philips Lighting, and Valora to discuss how Chatbots work, generate sales, and increase brand awareness (Wednesday, 5:20 pm, Experience Hall).
  • In collaboration with Microsoft, our partners will also be onsite and presenting Hololens demos and discussing the future of AR and VR, including Thomas Hoger, co-owner, 3spin, and Michael Zawrel, Hololens & Devices Product Manager, Microsoft, on Wednesday.
