Action Extensions

Add a call-to-action button in your text ad with Action Extensions. Clicking on the button lets customers instantly interact with the ad to place an order, book a hotel, send a message, and more. There are currently 62 preset action types you can choose from. You can take a look at the list of all action types here.

This extension is clickable and will appear next to your ad’s description. You can use Action Extensions with other ad extensions.

• Focus on the key action
  Encourage potential customers to take the next important step in the buying journey by giving them actions to choose from, such as “download,” “apply now,” “reserve,” “subscribe,” “watch now,” and many others.
• Get flexible associations
  Action Extensions can be associated at the account, campaign or ad group level. They can be combined with most other ad extensions as well.
• Increase click-through rates
  Action extensions can help you achieve higher click-through rates (CTRs) and conversion rates (CVRs).1
