SMX East Starts Tomorrow: Stop By the Bing Booth for a #PPCchat Meet Up | #smx #ppc #sem
September 30, 2012
Tomorrow marks the start of the SMX East conference at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. Digital marketers from all over will descend upon the Big Apple to get tips and advice from the online marketing industry’s best and brightest. From sessions covering tactics to increase not only website traffic, but conversions and sales to search engine optimization (SEO), local/mobile search and social media marketing, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
Speaking of social media, if you’ve got a Twitter account and have some free time on Tuesdays at 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern, mark your calendar to check out #PPCchat. Hosted by Matt Umbro, Director of Search at eXclusive Concepts, Inc., this weekly Twitter chat is a great resource for getting a crowd-sourced perspective on topics ranging from platform-specific tips and tricks to general optimization and conversion-increasing strategies.
If you’re already a #PPCchat regular, hopefully you’ve heard about the meet-up happening at the Bing booth in the Expo Hall on Tuesday:
Be sure to swing by and grab a “Hello My Name Is” tag for your Twitter handle from our man at SMX, Dave Rigotti (as much as I’d love to be there to put some faces with names, I’m expecting twins next month, so travel is not in the cards for me this time around… Dave will take good care of you though!).
While we’re on the subject of #PPCchat, I should also mention that plans are in the works for Bing Ads experts John Gagnon (see below) and Paul Corkery to join in as special guests during the October 16th #PPCchat… stay tuned here to the blog for additional details.
As you’re making your agenda plans for SMX, keep the following sessions in mind:
Safe travels to those of you who’re still en route and have a great time!
