Online travel agency achieves 50% lower cost per click with Bing Ads

Travel agency ebookers Nordics, which provides a booking service for worldwide destinations, competes for customers in a challenging environment because of huge growth in the Internet travel booking industry.


With help from search engine marketing firm iProspect, ebookers Nordics drives sales with Bing Ad campaigns. The agency takes advantage of Sitelink Extensions to bring potential customers to specific pages of its websites. It also uses geo-targeting to target customers based on where they’re located.


The cost per click for Bing Ads campaigns is almost half the cost of Google AdWords. Bing Ads campaigns also have a much higher return on investment. “Bing Ads and the Yahoo Bing Network provide great support — friendly and always helpful — qualitative traffic, a low cost per click and more visibility,” says Anna Sjöstrand, SEM manager at ebookers Nordics.
