Several days ago, David Pann blogged about the positive momentum we are seeing in the search business here at Microsoft, momentum that includes recent Bing Ads feature releases as well as growth across the Yahoo Bing Network. That momentum continues today as the new look and search experience on Bing becomes available globally.
New Opportunities for Advertisers
We know that when we put consumers first, great opportunities for you, our advertisers, will follow. The changes we’re making to Bing not only are meant to take ‘take search out of the box,’ but we're making an investment to further engage consumers, and provide great things for our advertisers too.
An example of that is Bing Smart Search in Windows 8.1. Smart Search is a faster way to get things done. Built especially to help people get the most out of touch on a tablet or PC, it brings together great results from the web, your device, apps, and the cloud, all with one search. The improved results are more actionable, bringing consumers and advertisers closer together.
A New Look for Bing Ads
Across our platform, digital properties and advertiser community sites, you will notice Bing Ads now reflects the new brand. Bing Ads is working hard to find ways for you to connect with audiences, while removing barriers and providing the tools to make it easier to uncover new opportunities across multiple devices. Additionally, we’re integrating search into products such as Windows Phone and Xbox, creating even more touch points for advertisers.
It’s an exciting time for Bing and Bing Ads – and I am looking forward to circling back with more updates soon.
